The First Ask Congratulates Katie Brennan on Her Success in the 2025 General Election
Washington, DC – The First Ask endorsed candidate Katie Brennan has won the general election in a landslide victory and will now represent New Jersey's 32nd district in the State Assembly.
Brennan, a housing policy expert and political staffer, utilized her expertise and previous successes in reducing the cost of housing in New Jersey and across the country. She ran on a comprehensive platform of affordable housing, reliable and accessible transportation, good paying jobs, and increased government transparency.
Executive Director of The First Ask, Caroline Welles, has made the following statement regarding Brennan’s victory:
“Congratulations to Katie for her victory in the 2025 general election! Katie has spent her entire life proving and delivering on her dedication to creating a more affordable, sustainable, and resilient future. Katie has shown time and time again that she knows how to bring results home to her community. In addition to her work as a policy expert, Katie’s work advocating for survivors of sexual assault brings hope to survivors everywhere. The First Ask is so proud of Katie!”
