Washington, DC – The First Ask endorsed candidate Stacey Carroll has won the general election with 51% of the vote and flipped the seat. Stacey will now represent Virginia’s 65th district in the House of Delegates.

Stacey Caroll, a mother of three, foster parent, veteran, and CPA, has a dedicated background in education. Executive Director of The First Ask, Caroline Welles, has made the following statement regarding Carroll’s victory:

“Congratulations to Stacey for her victory in the 2025 general election! As a veteran and a mother with children who attend public schools in the district,Stacey is able to be an effective advocate for the many veterans and military families living in the district. Her military and government experience has prepared her well to be a fierce advocate for her district. The First Ask is so proud of Stacey!”
